Refund Policy:

If you contact us:

More than 90 days before the event.

• 100% of your registration fee will be given as future race credits, minus the processing fees. Race credit will be good for 15 months. Transfers will be accepted with a $15 transfer fee.

​Between 90 to 46 days before the event.

• 75% of your registration fee will be given as future race credits, minus the processing fees. Race credit will be good for 15 months. Transfers will be accepted with a $15 transfer fee.

Between 45-15 days prior to the event:

• 50% of your registration fee will be given as future race credits, minus the processing fees. Race credit will be good for 15 months. Transfers will be accepted with a $15 transfer fee.

Less than 14 days before the event.

• No credits, deferrals, or refunds will be given. Transfers will be accepted with a $15 transfer fee.

 

A $10 race director processing fee will be assessed for any deferrals.

Pregnancy and Postpartum Deferral and Transfer Policy

A full 100% race credit or a free race transfer to another person to any athlete who becomes pregnant before race day and chooses not to participate in the event. Race credit is good for 18 months.

Active Duty Military: If you are unable to attend due to active duty, you will receive a refund upon providing official documentation regarding your deployment.

 

Cancellation Policy:

The race will take place rain or shine.

If the event is canceled due to severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances, registered participants will receive a credit toward a future GRIT Adventure Racing event. The credit amount will equal the entry fee minus any non-recoverable costs already incurred by the race organization.

GRIT Adventure Racing reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel an event at any time if safety concerns arise, whether from natural or man-made conditions.

Volunteering:

We cannot host events without these amazing people! If you or someone on your behalf volunteers for a full race, you will receive a proportional race credit for future events.

Volunteer responsibilities include participating in the pre-race staff meeting the morning of the event, through event clean-up.
